Silk does not pull at hair the way cotton does, and its smooth surface means less friction against your face. Both matter more than they get credit for, because you spend a third of your life against this fabric.

For anyone whose hair breaks, frizzes or tangles overnight, or whose skin wants less friction and fewer unknowns. If your bedding needs a hot wash every day, silk isn’t made for that; cotton is.

What we won't claim: silk won't regrow hair, clear acne or erase wrinkles. It reduces friction against your hair and skin while you sleep. That is the whole claim, and it is enough.

What’s the difference between Douceur™ and Douceur Doublure™?
Douceur is a single layer of 25 momme Grade 6A silk. Douceur Doublure is two layers of the same silk, in a hand-numbered founding edition of 330.

Can I machine wash it?
Yes, on a delicate cycle in cold water, inside a mesh bag, with a pH-neutral detergent. Air dry.
